Koto Co-op and Post-Scarcity Support Association organized their annual summer gathering for the third time In July 2026. The event gathered a record number of participants, who got to spend time together with volunteering and relaxed socializing.
The summer days program included, in addition to volunteer work, workshops where the cooperative’s business and volunteer activities were developed. In addition, participants enjoyed Aurora and its beautiful surroundings, for example by swimming and picking berries. The biggest task of the volunteer work was repairing the building’s windows, puttying and painting them. Aurora’s garden was maintained with collective effort, and invasive species such as lupine, meadowsweet, and Himalayan balsam were extensively removed from the plot.
The next event, Autumn workdays will take place in October 23–25.
